Placements24 seeks a Chief Surveyor to oversee all surveying activities across mining projects in the Nelspruit region. You will lead a team of surveyors, implement advanced surveying technologies, and ensure regulatory compliance to maintain spatial integrity across multiple sites.

The role requires a Professional Land Surveyor qualification with 7+ years of experience in mining or large infrastructure, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and Trimble Business Center.

Qualifications

• Professional Land Surveyor qualification and registration with a recognized surveying body.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in surveying, with focus on mining or large infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage cadastral, topographical, and engineering surveying tasks for mining projects.
• Develop and implement surveying standards, procedures, and QC measures.
• Operate and maintain GPS, total stations, and laser scanners.
