Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer for its Polokwane facility to optimize production processes and drive efficiency across lines. You will lead initiatives to improve manufacturing methods, implement new technologies, and troubleshoot production challenges to ensure cost-effective operations.

The role focuses on quality, safety, throughput, and continuous improvement, with opportunities to deploy lean and Six Sigma methodologies in a leading industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering with a focus on process optimization.
• Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and process improvement tools experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continually improve manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven solutions.
• Lead projects for new manufacturing equipment and automation implementations.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions for manufacturing personnel.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot production line issues; collaborate with design, quality, and supply chain teams.
