Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer for our Pretoria facility. The role focuses on driving process improvements to boost production efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality through data-driven engineering solutions.
You will analyze current processes, identify bottlenecks, design improvements, and collaborate with production teams to implement SOPs, monitor KPIs, and deliver measurable performance gains.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in process improvement in manufacturing.
- Analytical mindset with data-driven approach.
- Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production workflows, reduce waste, and increase throughput.
- Design, test, and implement new manufacturing equipment and technologies.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions.
- Develop and maintain SOPs for manufacturing processes.
- Monitor KPIs and report on process performance and improvement initiatives.
