Job summary

Placements24 seeks a seasoned Senior Industrial Engineering Specialist to drive operational improvement initiatives in Mahikeng. You will shape processes and systems to maximize efficiency, productivity and quality across manufacturing operations, while mentoring engineers and promoting best practices across the organization.

You will design and implement advanced industrial engineering solutions, apply Lean and Six Sigma, and manage large-scale projects with technical leadership to engineers

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering with a focus on operations strategy.
• Deep expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred).
• Proven experience managing large-scale operational improvement projects.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in simulation software and statistical analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of advanced industrial engineering solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
• Optimize facility layouts, material flow, and production systems to cut costs.
• Develop and manage project plans for major upgrades and new systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and technicians.
• Analyze data, prepare reports, and present strategic recommendations to senior management.
