Job summary

Pedros Chicken is seeking a Manager Trainer to oversee regional training across allocated Pedros stores. The role focuses on coaching to uphold Standard Operating Procedures, optimizing training efficiency, and leading large-scale rollouts.

You will influence restaurant leadership to maintain operational standards. Responsibilities include conducting sessions, mentoring staff, tracking attendance, and supporting new store openings.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in restaurant or fast-food service management or training roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to write professional reports and use POS/MICROS systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training sessions on food preparation per SOPs.
• Mentor and upskill trainees and new employees.

• Provide daily updates on in-store training activity.

• Take charge of GP & GRV training and troubleshooting for stores.

Job description

The Manager Trainer will be responsible for overseeing the Regional Training of allocated Pedros stores. The role involves training and coaching ensuring that the Standard Operating Procedures maintained.To optimize training efficiency, lead large-scale rollouts, and influence restaurant leadership to improve operational standard

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Conduct training sessions on preparation of foods as per our Standard Operating Procedures
2. Support, mentor, and upskill trainees and new employees
3. Promote efficiency and improve skills of employees
4. Keep attendance and training records and registers
5. Monitor employee performance and response to training
6. Conduct performance evaluations and identify areas of improvement
7. Provide daily updates on training areas done daily in-stores
8. Work within a team and drive the restaurant/take-away forward
9. Assist in New Store openings – supporting the teams through constant mentoring and coaching
10. Assist the Training Department with Adhoc Training tasks and projects within Pedros
11. Doing presentations to the target audience for all Pedros Training Modules and SOP’s
12. Take charge of GP & GRV training/ trouble shooting for new & existing stores.
13. Multi-store Training & leadership, Program design & Innovation, Practical Assessments, Mentorship, Coaching Peers, Training Newly Hired Managers/Internal Development Candidates, Sign Off Managers and Support new store openings

Requirements:

1. Restaurant and Fast-Food Service experience. Minimum 3 -5 years related experience required
2. Good verbal and written communication skills
3. Organisational and time management skills
4. Attention to detail
5. Be prepared to go the extra mile
6. Must be computer literate and must be able to write professional reports from time to time
7. MIcros and POS knowledge would be advantageous
8. Must have own reliable vehicle & mobile phone
