Job summary

Altron Digital Business in Gauteng seeks a Support Technician to provide end-user computer support, manage IT systems, and guide junior technicians. You will ensure SLA compliance, troubleshoot hardware and software, and maintain AD accounts and EUC configurations.

The role requires ITIL, CompTIA certifications, and knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows 11. This permanent position focuses on delivering reliable IT services to clients in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Matric; Technical Support NQF Level 4; Diploma in Information Technology.
• CompTIA A+
• CompTIA N+ & A+
• ITIL Foundation Certification
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals – AZ900
• Microsoft Office 365 Fundamentals – MS900
• MTA: Windows Operating System Fundamentals (Windows 11)
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
• Apple Mac Apple Certified Support Professional (optional based on customer requirements)

Responsibilities

• Meet contracted SLA for support calls.
• Follow up and escalate calls as needed.
• Log and update calls with ongoing status.
• Administer User and Computer accounts in AD.
• Perform tests on hardware and networks and document OS software.
• Coordinate with IT staff to resolve issues.
• Install and configure EUC equipment.
