Hire Resolve is seeking a Senior IT & Security Support Technician to join our client team in Pretoria, Gauteng. The role focuses on maintaining IT infrastructure, networks, and security while providing prompt staff support.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and help implement IT policies. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years' IT support experience, A+/N+ certifications, and strong Windows/Microsoft 365 knowledge.

Qualifications

• IT degree or diploma required.
• Completed A+ and N+ certifications.
• 2–4 years IT support, network admin and security experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows packages; switches, cabling, WIFI, network printing, ADSL, routers and modems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Maintain internal IT infrastructure incl. servers, networks, and security.
• Install, configure, and update workstations and laptops.
• Assist in deployment of IT policies and procedures.
• Support staff with software applications and technical queries.
• Collaborate with vendors for procurement and maintenance.
• Maintain documentation of IT assets and support logs.
• Install and support MS Office and Microsoft 365.
• Design and install LAN infrastructure and cabling.

Hire Resolves client is looking for a skilled and proactive Senior IT & Security Support Technician to join their team in Pretoria, Gauteng. This role is responsible for maintaining and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation of networks, systems, and hardware. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, security background and a problem–solving mindset to provide efficient and effective IT support to the staff and company.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network–related issues.
• Maintain and manage internal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems.
• Install, configure, and update workstations, laptops, and other IT equipment.
• Assist in the deployment and management of IT policies and procedures.
• Support internal teams with software applications and technical queries.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers for hardware/software procurement and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations, and support logs.
• Implementing & Support of MS Office products and Microsoft 365 incl. but not limited to MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint.
• Design and install well–functioning computer networks, connections and cabling.
• Inspect LAN infrastructure and fix minor or major problems/bugs.
• Install and maintain VoIP software.
• Test and configure software and maintain and repair hardware and peripheral devices.
• Organize and schedule installations and maintenance without deterring others from completing their own work.

Requirements:
