Job summary

Eqplus Pty Ltd in Cape Town is seeking a Senior IT Operations Manager to lead operational performance, oversee service delivery across key client accounts, and drive continuous improvement. The role requires managing compliance, security, incidents, and IT assets while coordinating with global teams.

This is a strictly office-based position with shift work aligned to US time zones, located in the Western Cape.

Qualifications

• Graduate qualification; Master’s degree advantageous
• 12–14 years of relevant industry experience
• Experience supporting 5–10 end users
• Strong knowledge of networking, systems, voice technologies, business applications, and ITSM
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• ITIL/ITSM certifications and project management experience advantageous
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, and Visio

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT operations and service delivery across key client accounts
• Monitor SLAs, lead operational reviews, and drive continuous improvement
• Manage compliance, information security, major incidents, and IT assets
• Lead implementations, service transitions, projects, and new site setups
• Coordinate with local and international teams to maintain service standards
• Manage operational costs and improve productivity
