Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Senior Desktop Support Technician to install, troubleshoot and maintain computer systems across the organization. You will own user support, manage hardware/software issues, and work with internal teams to ensure secure, reliable IT operations.

The role requires a strong customer-service mindset, the ability to work independently, and willingness to work overtime when needed. Office suites proficiency and good time management are essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years in a Desktop Support role.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Strong customer-oriented service focus and independence.

Responsibilities

• Set up and install workstations.
• Identify and fix hardware and software issues.
• Maintain administrative records and inventory.
• Resolve LAN/WAN and network connectivity issues.
• Manage VPN setup for clients (as approved).
• Support deployment of new applications and systems.
• Train staff on hardware and software usage.
• Log and track tickets using the ticketing system.
