Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an Inventory Controller for a 5-star boutique hotel and restaurant in Cape Town, requiring meticulous, systems-driven work across departments including beverage, food, spa retail, galleries, and housekeeping.

You will ensure inventory accuracy, audit-ready data, and adherence to group standards with strong analytical and cross-department collaboration skills. Cape Town-based candidates will be given strong preference.

Qualifikationen

• 2–4 years’ experience in hospitality inventory or multi-department stock management in a luxury hotel
• Luxury hospitality experience essential
• Cape Town-based candidates preferred

Aufgaben

• Oversee all daily stock movements across departments and ensure SOP compliance
• Verify transactions: POs, GRNs, transfers, wastage, credits, issues
• Lead mid-month and month-end stock counts with blind counts for high-risk areas
• Compile month-end packs: opening/closing balances, purchases, issues, transfers, wastage, variances
• Maintain accurate item master data, unit of measure, cost, and VAT categorisation
• Reconcile POS sales against inventory depletion across bar, spa retail, and gallery operations
• Enforce full separation of duties and digital document trails across inventory transactions
