Placements24 is seeking a Senior Industrial Quality Engineer for Randburg to lead quality assurance in our manufacturing client. You will oversee QC activities, audits, data analysis, and CAPAs to prevent defects and drive customer satisfaction.

The role requires a degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years in quality engineering, and strong ISO 9001, SPC, and root cause analysis skills. You will collaborate with production and engineering to sustain operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years in a quality engineering role in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and QMS.
• Proficient in SPC and root cause analysis methods.
• Experience with inspection techniques and QA tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the quality management system (ISO 9001).
• Oversee quality control activities on the production floor.
• Conduct regular quality audits of processes and products.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and conduct root cause analyses.
• Develop CAPAs to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
• Ensure compliance with customer specs and regulatory requirements.
• Train staff on quality standards and procedures.
• Maintain quality control documentation and records.
• Monitor key quality metrics and report to management.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in quality.
