Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Industrial Engineer to lead critical initiatives in Richards Bay, overseeing projects from conception to completion. You will define scope, manage resources, mitigate risks, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery to boost operational efficiency and strategic goals.

The role requires a Master’s in Industrial Engineering (PMP desirable), 10+ years in IE with 5+ years in PM, and expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and related methodologies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field; PMP certification is highly desirable.
• 10+ years of experience in industrial engineering, with at least 5 years in a project management role.
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale industrial projects.
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and industrial engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closure of industrial engineering projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Identify and manage project risks and develop contingency plans to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including operations, manufacturing, and R&D, to achieve project goals.
• Oversee the implementation of new processes, technologies, and systems within operational environments.
• Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and ensure continuous improvement.
