The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering and 4+ years of lean-focused experience, plus strong data-analysis and communication skills to deliver measurable gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in industrial engineering with lean methodologies.
• Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio) and statistical analysis software.
• Experience with project management and cross-functional teamwork.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing and operations to identify bottlenecks in Richards Bay.
• Develop and implement lean strategies including Kaizen events, 5S, value stream mapping.
• Design improvements to production layouts, workflows and material handling.
• Measure KPIs related to efficiency, quality and cost and report progress.
• Collaborate with production staff and management to adopt new processes.
• Support integration of new technologies and automation.
