Placements24 seeks a Senior Industrial Engineering Manager to lead the engineering department in Sandton. You will drive process improvement, lean initiatives, and manufacturing excellence across the organization, guiding a team of engineers and key stakeholders.

You will set strategic direction, oversee major optimization projects, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with Operations, Production, and Supply Chain to achieve significant business impact through engineering leadership.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in industrial engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge.
• Proven track record leading complex engineering projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of industrial engineers, setting performance goals and fostering professional development.
• Develop and implement the strategic vision for industrial engineering, focusing on continuous improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement across all operations.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of large-scale process optimization and operational excellence projects.
• Establish and maintain systems for process monitoring, performance measurement, and continuous improvement initiatives in Sandton.
• Collaborate with senior management across departments to align engineering strategies with business objectives.
• Ensure adherence to industry best practices, quality standards, and safety regulations within all engineering activities.
