Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in industrial engineering with a focus on production systems design and manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience designing and implementing efficient production layouts and workflows.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software, simulation tools (Arena, AnyLogic), and data analysis software (Minitab, Excel).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills; strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience in project management is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize production systems, including factory layouts, material flow, and equipment integration.
• Analyze current production processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement using data-driven approaches.
• Develop and implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Create detailed process flow diagrams, simulation models, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective system implementation.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, automation solutions, and equipment to improve production capabilities.
• Develop and maintain KPIs for production systems and monitor performance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Manage projects related to production system upgrades and new line installations.
• Ensure designs comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
