Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer in Stellenbosch to lead our Operations Excellence program, driving continuous improvement across production and supply chain using Lean and Six Sigma.

You will mentor teams, analyze processes, develop business cases, and guide capital investments, while collaborating on-site and remotely in a hybrid setup that leverages strategic planning from anywhere and hands-on execution in Stellenbosch.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in industrial engineering with emphasis on operations excellence, Lean and Six Sigma.
• Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification in Six Sigma is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of operations excellence strategies across manufacturing and logistics.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to drive improvements in efficiency, cost, and quality.
• Conduct process analysis, value stream mapping, and bottleneck identification.
• Develop and implement business cases for capital investments and automation.
• Manage cross-functional project teams and monitor KPIs; mentor junior engineers.
