Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a motivated Technical Sales Representative for its Welkom branch. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, identify requirements for hydraulic and pneumatic solutions, and prepare quotations with negotiated pricing.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in hydraulics/pneumatics sales, hold a Matric certificate, own a reliable vehicle, and reside in/around Welkom. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of SYSPRO ERP are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Hydraulic/Pneumatics sales environment.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Own reliable vehicle (essential).
• Must reside in or around the Welkom area.
• Knowledge of SYSPRO ERP will be advantageous.
• Higher Technical Qualification will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable hydraulic and pneumatic solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and conclude sales agreements.
• Provide technical product advice and support to customers.
• Generate new business opportunities and grow the customer portfolio.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales information.
• Prepare and process sales contracts and orders.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service and successful project delivery.
