We’re looking for a Technical Sales Representative who can confidently talk hydraulics and pneumatics, understand what a customerneeds and turn that technical knowledge into commercial results.

This isn’t a role for someone who wants to sit behind a deskwaiting for enquiries. We’re looking for a proactive, technically mindedsalesperson who enjoys getting in front of customers, finding newopportunities and closing deals.

If you have solid experience selling hydraulic andpneumatic solutions, particularly pumps and motors, this could be a greatnext step.

What you'll be doing

You’ll take ownership of developing customer relationshipsand growing sales across your territory.

• Manageand develop relationships with new and existing customers
  
• Understandcustomer applications and recommend suitable hydraulic and pneumaticsolutions
  
• Preparequotations, negotiate and close deals
  
• Prospectfor new customers and identify untapped business opportunities
  
• Generateleads through networking and proactive business development
  
• Buildstrong, long-term relationships with customers
  
• Maintainaccurate customer and sales records on the automated system
  
• Workwith the wider team to develop effective sales strategies
  
• Travelextensively to customers in Durban and Limpopo
  

Requirements

• Matric
  
• Atleast 3 years’ sales experience within the hydraulics and pneumaticsindustry
  
• Goodtechnical knowledge of pumps and motors
  
• Astrong track record in sales and business development
  
• Validdriver’s licence and own vehicle
  
• Willingnessand ability to travel extensively
  
• Aproactive, target-driven approach to sales
