Placements24 is seeking a Senior HR Specialist to join a fully remote team supporting operations based in Klerksdorp. The role requires expertise in talent management, employee relations, and HR policy development to align HR practices with business strategy and legislation.

You will work autonomously to drive HR initiatives, advise management, and contribute strategically to a forward-thinking organization that values remote collaboration and strong HR leadership.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in HR Management or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive HR experience in HR Specialist or generalist roles with remote work.
• Expert knowledge of South African labor laws and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to manage complex employee relations and talent management initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
• Strong proficiency with HR technology platforms and remote collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex employee relations issues, investigations, and resolutions.
• Develop and implement talent acquisition and retention strategies to attract and keep top talent.
• Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and development plans.
• Advise management on HR best practices, legal compliance, and organizational design.
• Drive HR projects related to policy development, HRIS implementation, and process improvement.
• Mentor junior HR staff and contribute to the overall HR team's strategic objectives remotely.
