Placements24 in South Africa seeks a Senior HR Officer based in Rustenburg to drive HR strategy and partner with leadership. This role handles employee relations, policy development, and budget management while leading HR projects in a fully remote setup to enable strong work‑life balance.

The successful candidate will have 7+ years of HR experience, a Master’s in HRM, deep knowledge of SA labour law, and proven leadership and HRIS skills to shape an effective, compliant HR function.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline.
• 7+ years of comprehensive HR experience, including employee relations and HR strategy.
• Proven track record in managing complex HR projects and initiatives.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labor law and its application.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Advanced proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and support to management on all HR-related matters.
• Lead and manage complex employee relations cases, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
• Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practice.
• Oversee talent management initiatives, including succession planning and leadership development.
• Manage the HR budget and ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Drive HR projects, such as system implementations or organizational restructuring.
