Placements24 is seeking a senior HR Manager in Benoni, Gauteng, to lead employee relations strategies and safeguard a fair, productive workplace. You will advise management and support employees, shaping culture and organizational effectiveness.

The role requires 8+ years in HR with at least 5 years in employee relations, strong knowledge of SA labor law, and proven experience in investigations and disciplinary processes. A dynamic manufacturing environment experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRM, Industrial Psychology, Law or related field.
• 8+ years HR experience with at least 5 years in employee relations.
• Strong knowledge of SA labor law (BCEA, LRA, EEA) and IR practices.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and mediations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Discretion with sensitive information and ability to influence senior management.
• Experience within manufacturing sector in Gauteng preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee employee relations policies and programs.
• Conduct investigations into grievances, disputes, and misconduct.
• Advise management on disciplinary actions, PIP, and terminations.
• Promote a positive work environment through engagement and communication.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws across Benoni.
• Facilitate effective communication between employees and management.
• Collaborate with legal counsel on complex ER matters.
• Develop training for managers and employees on conflict resolution and inclusion.
• Analyze feedback and HR data to identify risks and preventative measures.
