Job summary

WorldWide Staffing is seeking an HR Operations lead in South Africa to direct site supervisors and oversee onboarding to meet client requirements. You will manage headcounts and serve as the primary client contact on operational matters.

You will ensure proper documentation, payroll inquiries, PPE control, transport logistics, incident investigations, and disciplinary processes, while driving timely reporting and payroll accuracy.

Qualifications

• Matric or relevant tertiary qualification is required.
• Minimum 5 years HR Operations experience.
• Advanced knowledge of SA Labour Legislation and TES industry.
• MS Office proficiency at an advanced level.

Responsibilities

• Direct, guide, and manage the performance of the WWS site supervisors to ensure they effectively execute their daily operational duties.
• Plan and manage onboarding of new assignees to meet client requirements; manage headcount and identify opportunities to increase headcount on the client site.
• Serve as the primary client contact on operational matters; inform client of incidents, accidents, and outcomes.
• Ensure all operational documentation (contracts, forms, disciplinary records, attendance registers, training registers, licenses) is accurately completed and filed per policy.
• Ensure payslips are delivered, employee queries resolved, and employee records updated.
• Manage PPE orders and ensure all employees wear correct PPE before shifts.
• Arrange transport to facilitate timely staff collection.
• Lead investigations into on-site incidents, accidents, and misconduct with thorough evidence gathering.
• Draft warnings/charges, issue notices, and initiate disciplinary hearings per policy.
• Assist in managing strikes with HR/IR and Regional Operations.
• Attend to employee queries and grievances promptly.
• Prepare and submit weekly site operation reports; consolidate monthly data for client reporting.
