Job summary

Techniplas is hiring a Senior HR Officer for its Coega IDZ, Eastern Cape, South Africa location. The person will report to the HR Manager and ensure flawless data integrity, payroll validation, and proactive compliance through effective leadership of the junior HR team and collaboration with external consultants.

The role involves assisting in policy development, recruitment for lower levels, grievance handling, training coordination, and BBBEE transformation support.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR or Labour Law is required.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a similar environment.
• Exposure to Manufacturing/Automotive environment is preferred.
• Solid understanding of Employment, Labour Laws, and HR Policies & Procedures.
• Knowledge of Employment Equity & BBEEE is essential.
• Unquestionable business ethics and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Support payroll data integrity and payroll validation processes.
• Assist in development, revision and implementation of HR policies.
• Oversee recruitment for lower-level roles according to policy.
• Contribute to grievance handling and related documentation.
• Coordinate training needs analysis and in-house training initiatives.
• Ensure compliance tracking and interactions with external consultants.
