Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior HR Manager to lead the HR function in Welkom, Free State. This leadership role shapes HR strategies aligned with business goals and oversees Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, and Organisational Development.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in HRM or related field, 8+ years in HR leadership, deep knowledge of South African labour law, HRIS, and a proven track record in developing and implementing HR

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in HRM or related field.
• 8+ years in progressive HR leadership roles.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labour law, HR best practices, and HRIS.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic thinking and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies and initiatives across the organisation.
• Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
• Oversee talent management processes, including recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
• Manage complex employee relations issues and ensure compliance with all relevant labour laws.
• Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs.
