Job summary

Placements24 in George is seeking a highly experienced Senior HR Generalist to join the team for comprehensive HR support across employee relations, recruitment, and performance management. You will implement policies and ensure alignment with the company’s strategic goals within the Western Cape.

The role requires a Bachelor's in HR Management, 4+ years in a broad HR generalist function, strong SA labor law knowledge, HRIS proficiency, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management (or related field).
• 4+ years in a broad HR generalist role.
• Strong knowledge of South African labor law.
• Experience with HRIS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on employee relations, disciplinary processes, and grievances.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment with hiring managers.
• Implement and administer HR policies and procedures.
• Support performance management cycles and development planning.
• Contribute to employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data confidentiality.
