The role leads complex employee relations, recruitment, and performance management while leveraging HR analytics and HRIS to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in HRM, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior HR generalist capacity.
• Deep understanding of South African labour law and precedents.
• Experience with talent management, performance management, and employee relations.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with advanced HRIS functionalities and HR analytics.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary processes and grievances.
• Lead recruitment efforts for key positions, develop talent acquisition strategies, and manage candidate pipelines.
• Partner with management to implement performance management systems and drive employee development initiatives.
• Ensure full compliance with South African labour legislation and HR policies, updating them as necessary.
• Develop and execute HR projects that support business objectives, such as organizational design or change management.
• Analyze HR data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
