Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to lead HR across the business in Midrand. You will develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives, overseeing recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in HR leadership, a relevant degree, strong SA labor-law knowledge, and proficiency with HRIS and talent management software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in HR management.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of South African labor law and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies and policies to support business growth and employee development.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding and retention.
• Oversee employee relations, addressing grievances, investigations, and promoting a fair workplace.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with labor laws and market trends.
• Implement performance appraisal systems to drive employee performance and development.
• Ensure compliance with all South African labor laws and maintain HR records.
