ICG Medical in Cape Town is seeking a resilient Senior HR Manager to own the South African HR function, lead a small agile team from Plattekloof and sit on the SA Leadership Team. You will partner with international leadership across UK, Ireland, and USA, drive employee relations, payroll oversight, performance management and workforce planning while ensuring compliance and pragmatic people solutions.

Formación

• Five or more years of generalist HR experience in South Africa, including at least two years managing people.
• Experience leading an HR team in fast moving, high volume environments such as recruitment, staffing, BPO, or shared services.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation and CCMA processes.
• Hands-on payroll experience and sign-off reconciliation.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and peers on the Leadership Team.
• Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive, hands-on approach to people matters.
• A degree or diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations, or similar.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a small South African HR team while delivering hands on yourself.
• Partner with international leadership teams across the UK, Ireland and USA.
• Drive employee relations, industrial relations and complex labour matters.
• Own performance management, retention, and workforce planning, with clear and measurable outcomes.
• Checking and controlling payroll, and keeping HR operations and statutory compliance on track.
• Leading key people initiatives, including our Internship Programme.
• Bringing strategic HR thinking to the South Africa Leadership Team, while staying hands on with day to day operations.
• Supporting our smaller teams in Kenya and Dubai.
