ICG Medical in Cape Town is seeking a resilient Senior HR Manager to own the South African HR function, lead a small agile team from Plattekloof and sit on the SA Leadership Team. You will partner with international leadership across UK, Ireland, and USA, drive employee relations, payroll oversight, performance management and workforce planning while ensuring compliance and pragmatic people solutions.

Competenze

• Five or more years of generalist HR experience in South Africa, including at least two years managing people.
• Experience leading an HR team in fast moving, high volume environments such as recruitment, staffing, BPO, or shared services.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation and CCMA processes.
• Hands-on payroll experience and sign-off reconciliation.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and peers on the Leadership Team.
• Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive, hands-on approach to people matters.
• A degree or diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations, or similar.

ICG Medical is looking for a resilient, commercially minded and hands on Senior HR Manager to own our South African HR function, lead a small, agile team from our new Plattekloof office, and take a seat on our South Africa Leadership Team.

ICG Medical is an international healthcare staffing group operating across 13 countries. Our Cape Town team of around 150 people powers our UK, Irish, and US businesses, and it moves fast. As a strong, hands on operator, you will make a real and visible local impact: shaping how we attract, develop, and keep great people, and advising leaders across three continents.

What will you be responsible for?

What we're looking for:

• Hands on payroll experience: you have personally checked and reconciled a payroll before sign off.
• The presence and confidence to influence senior leaders, including your peers on the Leadership Team.
• Resilience and adaptability: you thrive on pace and change, stay calm under pressure, and enjoy rolling up your sleeves.
• Discretion, sound judgement, and a positive, grounded approach to people matters.
• A degree or diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations, or similar.
