Job summary

Techbridge Recruitment seeks a Human Resources Generalist to deliver hands-on HR support across multiple sites in Cape Town. You will drive recruitment, onboarding, performance management, HR administration and compliance while partnering with managers to sustain a productive and engaged workforce.

The role requires 5–6 years of generalist HR experience with strong IR skills and knowledge of BCEA, LRA and Employment Equity.

Qualifications

• Matric and relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources.
• 5-6 years' generalist HR experience, including at least 2 years in a senior HR Officer/Generalist capacity.
• Strong practical Industrial Relations experience, including disciplinary processes, grievances, CCMA/Bargaining Council matters and union/employee representative engagement.
• Sound knowledge of the BCEA, LRA, Employment Equity and Skills Development requirements.
• Experience in recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training coordination, HR reporting and employee records administration.
• Working knowledge of payroll processes, remuneration structures and Bargaining Council agreements; MIBCO exposure advantageous.
• Exposure to Employment Equity, WSP/ATR, SETA and B-BBEE reporting requirements.
• Advanced MS Office Skills, Especially Excel; SAGE People 300 experience advantageous.
• Professional, assertive and approachable communicator with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently under pressure.
• Motor industry, retail, warehousing or multi-site operational environment experience will be advantageous.
