Placements24 is seeking a Senior Hotel Sales Manager for a prominent hotel in Benoni, Gauteng. You will lead sales efforts to drive corporate and leisure bookings, maximize revenue, and manage a high-performing team in a hybrid role balancing remote planning with on-site client engagement.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in hotel sales, strong negotiation skills, and a proven track record in hospitality. Travel within Gauteng and beyond for client meetings is expected.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of progressive hotel sales experience; at least 2 in a senior/managerial role.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets in hospitality.
• Strong understanding of corporate, MICE, and leisure sales strategies.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with CRM software and hotel sales platforms.
• Willingness to travel within Gauteng and occasionally beyond for client meetings.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve room revenue and occupancy targets.
• Identify and pursue opportunities in corporate, MICE, and leisure segments.
• Build and nurture relationships with key clients, travel agents, and partners.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.

• Collaborate with marketing on sales campaigns and promotions.
• Lead and train the sales team to meet individual and group targets.
• Represent the hotel at events, trade shows, and networking functions.
