Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospitality sales, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and MICE market dynamics.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and sales management software.
• Willingness to travel locally and a valid driver’s license.
• Based in or able to commute regularly to the Soweto/Gauteng region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve hotel revenue targets for rooms, F&B, and events.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the corporate, leisure, and MICE segments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate accounts, travel agents, and event planners.
• Conduct persuasive sales presentations and negotiations to secure bookings and contracts.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns.
• Ensure all sales activities align with the hotel’s brand standards and service excellence objectives.
• Manage the sales budget effectively and ensure profitable sales outcomes.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to represent the hotel.
