Chain Reaction Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a luxury hotel group to fill a Sales and Marketing Executive role in Sandton, Gauteng. The hybrid position combines strategic, remote work with on-site client engagement to drive occupancy, revenue, and brand awareness for the flagship property.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in hotel sales and marketing, strong corporate, leisure, and MICE experience, and a track record of meeting targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in hotel sales and marketing, luxury segment.
• Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and hit targets.
• Strong knowledge of local and international tourism and corporate markets.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Proficient with hotel sales CRM systems and digital marketing tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
• Hybrid work readiness and Sandton-based on-site duties.
• Must be legally eligible to work in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to drive hotel revenue and occupancy.
• Identify and solicit new business from corporate accounts, travel agents, and event organizers.
• Maintain relationships with clients to secure repeat business.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and new markets.
• Oversee the hotel’s online presence across website, social media, and OTAs.
• Develop and execute promotional campaigns, advertising, and PR activities.
• Manage the sales budget and monitor performance against targets.
• Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
• Collaborate with operations and F&B teams to ensure event delivery.
• Represent the hotel at industry events and trade shows.
