Placements24 is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Sandton, Gauteng to lead high-rise structural design and project teams for iconic tall-building projects. You will manage complex analyses, growth opportunities, and client interfaces to ensure safety, stability and efficient execution.

The role demands mastery of advanced analysis tools, seismic and wind design, and leadership experience across large multi-disciplinary teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering with a focus on structures.
• Pr. Eng. registration with ECSA is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design of high-rise buildings from concept to construction documents.
• Perform advanced structural analysis using ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE.
• Develop innovative tall-building structural systems considering wind, seismic, and vertical transport.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, specifications and reports.
• Collaborate with architects, façade engineers, MEP engineers and other consultants.
