Job summary

The Individual Touch CC is seeking a Head of Growth to lead the national growth strategy for the General Retail Vertical in South Africa. You will drive merchant acquisition, revenue expansion, and product penetration while strengthening partnerships with key retailers and strategic partners.

You will manage Growth Managers and field teams, ensure accurate forecasting, and collaborate with Product and Marketing to tailor retail solutions.

Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years of senior leadership experience in sales, business development, or account management within retail or financial services.
• Proven track record of developing and executing growth strategies with measurable results.
• Strong negotiation, strategic planning, and analysis skills.
• Exceptional leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and manage high-performing teams.
• Expertise in developing strategic partnerships and managing key accounts.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and analytics tools.
• Relevant industry knowledge and a network of key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the national growth strategy for the General Retail Vertical, aligning with corporate objectives.
• Translate growth targets into actionable regional plans focused on merchant acquisition, revenue expansion, customer retention, and product penetration.
