Placements24 is seeking a Senior Sound Designer for a remote-first team focused on immersive game audio experiences. You will design, implement, and mix all in-game audio, collaborating with designers, programmers, and art directors to ensure tight integration with gameplay and visuals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of professional sound design in games, strong DAW proficiency (Pro Tools, Cubase, or Reaper), and experience with Wwise or FMOD.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in sound design, with a significant portion focused on video games.
• Proficiency in industry-standard DAWs: Pro Tools, Cubase, or Reaper.
• Experience with game audio middleware like Wwise or FMOD.
• Strong understanding of acoustics, psychoacoustics, and audio engineering principles.
• Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and mix all in-game audio elements, including sound effects, environmental audio, Foley, and voice-overs.
• Collaborate with game designers, programmers, and art directors to integrate audio with gameplay and visuals.
• Develop and maintain audio pipelines, tools, and middleware integration to optimize workflow for the audio team.
• Create original sound assets using synthesis, recording, and editing.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior sound designers.
