Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in sound design for games, VR/AR or related media.
• Strong portfolio showcasing immersive sound design for interactive media.
• Proficiency in DAWs and audio editing software.
• Experience with audio middleware and game engines (Wwise, FMOD, Unreal/Unity).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and implement high-fidelity sound effects, ambient environments, and musical scores for interactive media.
• Collaborate with directors and designers to translate vision into audio.
• Record, edit, and mix assets to exacting standards for seamless integration.
• Utilize Wwise, FMOD, Unreal Engine, Unity for real-time audio implementation.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive sound libraries and asset management.
• Mentor junior sound designers and audio engineers.
• Stay abreast of trends in sound design and immersive audio.
• Conduct critical listening sessions and provide constructive feedback.
