Placements24 is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to perform on-site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy machinery in the Rustenburg area. The role requires diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues, interpreting schematics, and ensuring high uptime for client equipment.

You will travel regionally and beyond, perform preventative maintenance, and provide technical training to client staff while upholding safety standards and quality service.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Mechanical/Electrical engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of Field Service experience with heavy machinery/industrial equipment.
• Strong diagnostic skills for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in mining, construction or manufacturing sectors is desirable.
