Job summary

Staff Unlimited Recruitment is seeking an External Sales Representative for a technology and telecommunications client in Durban. You will drive new business through cold outreach, nurture existing accounts, and deliver accurate forecasts while maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in tech or telecom sales, proven ability to close deals, and excellent communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in technology or telecommunications.
• Proven track record in cold calling, negotiation and closing deals.
• Strong communication and merchandise presentation skills.
• Results-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with C and R programming languages is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new business through cold outreach, qualifying leads and building a robust pipeline of both new and dormant customers.
• Cultivate and develop existing accounts by upselling accessories and high-margin product lines.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and market insights through regular feedback and reporting.
• Act as the key point of contact for customers, internal sales teams, product managers, and account teams to ensure seamless communication and service.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, industry trends, and market developments.
• Represent the company at industry events, customer meetings, and regional functions as required.
