About the Role

Our client, a premier national catering and event services provider, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Event Catering Manager to join their dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing high-profile catering events, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional client satisfaction. This role demands a proactive approach, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the hospitality and events industry. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for catering operations, focusing on service quality, cost-effectiveness, and client retention.
• Oversee the planning and execution of diverse catering events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale functions, ensuring all logistical aspects are meticulously managed.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of catering professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Collaborate closely with sales and event planning teams to develop customized proposals and menu selections that align with client expectations and budget parameters.
• Manage inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships to ensure the highest quality ingredients and supplies are sourced efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience of at least 5 years in a senior catering management or event management role, with a strong emphasis on operational oversight.
• Demonstrable experience managing high-volume and complex catering events.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate remote teams.
• Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
