Job summary

Recruitify_HR is seeking an experienced civil engineering professional for senior leadership on large-scale heavy civil projects. The role requires an engineering degree, registration as a professional engineer or technologist or construction project manager, and extensive EPC project experience.

Candidates should have a deep understanding of FIDIC Silver Book and proven contract management skills. Ideal candidates will have substantial exposure to design and construct environments,

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering.
• Must be registered as a Professional Engineer, Professional Engineering Technologist or Professional Construction Project Manager.
• 15 years of experience in heavy civil engineering with proven experience managing contracts on projects valued above R300 million.
• Experience on Design & Construct (EPC) projects.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC Silver Book.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects involving pipelines, pump stations, water/wastewater infrastructure, bulk earthworks, and reinforced concrete structures.
• Advanced proficiency in CCS, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project.
• Strong commercial and contractual management skills.

Applicants Must Have The Following Requirements

Must have a Bachelor of Engineering Degree or a Bachelor of Science Degree or a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Civil Engineering.

Must be registered as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist or Professional Construction Project Manager.

Must have 15 years of experience in heavy civil engineering, with proven experience managing contracts on projects valued above R300 million.

Must have experience on Design & Construct (EPC) projects.

Must have strong knowledge of FIDIC Silver Book.

Must have proven experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects involving large-diameter steel pipelines, pump stations, water and wastewater infrastructure, bulk earthworks, and reinforced concrete structures.

Must have advanced proficiency in CCS, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project.

Must possess strong commercial and contractual management skills.
