Job summary

Recruitify_HR is seeking an experienced civil engineering professional for senior leadership on large-scale heavy civil projects. The role requires an engineering degree, registration as a professional engineer or technologist or construction project manager, and extensive EPC project experience.

Candidates should have a deep understanding of FIDIC Silver Book and proven contract management skills. Ideal candidates will have substantial exposure to design and construct environments,

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering.
• Must be registered as a Professional Engineer, Professional Engineering Technologist or Professional Construction Project Manager.
• 15 years of experience in heavy civil engineering with proven experience managing contracts on projects valued above R300 million.
• Experience on Design & Construct (EPC) projects.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC Silver Book.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects involving pipelines, pump stations, water/wastewater infrastructure, bulk earthworks, and reinforced concrete structures.
• Advanced proficiency in CCS, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project.
• Strong commercial and contractual management skills.

Applicants Must Have The Following Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor of Engineering Degree or a Bachelor of Science Degree or a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Must be registered as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist or Professional Construction Project Manager.
• Must have 15 years of experience in heavy civil engineering, with proven experience managing contracts on projects valued above R300 million.
• Must have experience on Design & Construct (EPC) projects.
• Must have strong knowledge of FIDIC Silver Book.
• Must have proven experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects involving large-diameter steel pipelines, pump stations, water and wastewater infrastructure, bulk earthworks, and reinforced concrete structures.
• Must have advanced proficiency in CCS, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project.
• Must possess strong commercial and contractual management skills.
