Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our client in Pietermaritzburg. The role focuses on design, planning and execution of major civil infrastructure projects, with emphasis on quality, safety and on-time delivery.

You will lead design efforts for roads, bridges and water systems, supervise site investigations, prepare drawings and tender docs, and mentor junior engineers in a collaborative office in Pietermaritzburg.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• ECSA Pr. Eng. registration is required.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design and project management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of civil engineering projects (roads, bridges, water systems).
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and environmental assessments.
