Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Recruitment Consultant to lead the engineering and technical recruitment division from Polokwane. You will build robust client relationships, develop talent pipelines, and manage complex projects across civil, mechanical, electrical, and chemical disciplines.

You will source and screen top engineers, mentor junior consultants, and drive high-quality candidate experiences while achieving recruitment targets in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in recruitment consultancy with focus on Engineering/Technical roles.
• Proven success recruiting for complex or niche engineering positions.
• Based in Polokwane, Limpopo, or willing to relocate for the role.
• Experience in hybrid work models and managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment for engineering/technical roles (mechanical, civil, project managers, technicians).
• Develop deep understanding of engineering job markets and client needs.
• Source, screen and interview engineering professionals.
• Manage full recruitment lifecycle from client engagement to offer.
• Provide market intelligence and recruitment advice to clients.
• Mentor junior consultants in the engineering recruitment team.
