Placements24 seeks a Senior Project Manager with a strong engineering background to lead large-scale industrial/infrastructure projects in Sandton. You will manage the full lifecycle, from conception to closure, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive on-time, on-budget delivery in a dynamic environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Electrical) and a proven 10-year track record, with PMP desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical) or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in project management, with engineering focus in industrial/infrastructure sectors.
• Proven track record delivering multi-million Rand projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of engineering projects from scope definition to closure.
• Develop project plans, budgets and schedules aligned with objectives.
• Manage teams of engineers, contractors and suppliers with accountability.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks and issues throughout the lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety and environmental standards.
• Communicate status and critical issues to senior management and stakeholders.
