Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead large-scale infrastructure developments in Randburg. You will oversee the full lifecycle from concept to handover, ensure delivery on time and within budget, and mentor a team of engineers.

The role requires a Pr Eng registration with ECSA, a Civil Engineering degree, and 10+ years in project engineering. Expect executive-level compensation, a hybrid work model, and opportunities to shape major urban development initiatives in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA is essential.
• 10+ years of progressive project engineering and infrastructure management experience.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with PM methodologies and software.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle for large-scale infrastructure developments, including planning, execution, and closure.
• Oversee project teams, including engineers, consultants, and contractors, ensuring effective collaboration.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant engineering standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.
• Act as the primary liaison with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
• Review designs, technical reports, and construction methodologies to ensure quality and feasibility.
