Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Engineer to lead critical infrastructure development projects in Sandton, Gauteng. You will manage scope, budget, and timelines from conception to completion, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and mitigating risks.

A proven track record delivering complex projects on time and within budget is essential. You will liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, driving high-impact outcomes in a major urban centre.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project engineering and management, preferably in infrastructure development.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of contract management, risk assessment, and procurement processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with projects in the Sandton area or similar urban environments in Gauteng is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure development projects, including planning, design, procurement, and construction.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
• Oversee project execution, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed.
