Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Master's degree focusing on power systems or energy storage is highly desirable.
- Minimum 5 years in electrical engineering with 3+ years in energy storage or related fields.
- Solid understanding of battery technologies and safety considerations.
- Experience with power electronics and control systems.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and electrical design software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and engineer integrated battery energy storage systems (BESS).
- Develop architectures and specifications for BESS deployments.
- Perform energy modeling and simulations to optimize performance and cost.
- Collaborate with project teams for seamless BESS integration with renewables and grid.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for BESS installations.
- Develop control strategies and software algorithms for BESS operation.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to BESS performance and integration.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations.
- Stay updated on advances in battery chemistries and energy storage tech.
