Placements24 is seeking a skilled Electrical Services Engineer to manage and deliver electrical services for buildings and facilities in Soweto. You will be involved in design, specification, installation supervision, and troubleshooting to meet client needs and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a B.Eng or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with at least five years of experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, and a strong grasp of SANS and building codes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical services engineering for buildings and infrastructure.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and essential calculation tools.
• Knowledge of building services regulations (SANS) and standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify electrical building services (power, lighting, earthing).
• Prepare drawings and specifications for electrical installations.
• Supervise on-site electrical installations to ensure quality and standards.
• Coordinate with architects, other engineers, and contractors.
• Conduct site surveys and develop maintenance plans for existing systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical service issues during construction or operation.
