Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive electrical engineering experience with a strong focus on power generation.
• Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP) and simulation tools.
• In-depth knowledge of power systems, control systems, and high-voltage equipment.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) registration with ECSA is highly advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the installation of complex electrical systems for power generation and distribution projects.
• Conduct detailed site inspections and feasibility studies for new electrical infrastructure.
• Perform electrical system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and implement effective repair solutions.
• Ensure all electrical designs and installations comply with national and international safety standards and regulations.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to site personnel.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project planning, execution, and commissioning phases.
